The important stuff: Married - divorced. Re-married. Two kids. Two step-kids. I am a father to them all. As a parent, I'm of the vein that doing the right thing for your kids is not necessarily doing the easy thing. Started work in a machine shop when I was 13. Learned to swear like a sailor. Still do. Went to college right outta high school. Didn't have a clue. Wasted a lot of time, and a lot of money. Went back to college when I was 40. By then, I did have a clue. Graduated top of my class, and am a member of a national academic honors society. Along the way I've been a welder, a mechanic, a crane operator, a commerical diver, learned a foreign language, lived in a foreign country where the ability to get things done was directly dependent on your ability to improvise, owned my own business, got a patent, working on others, I am a coach, a friend, and a lover. I have the heart of a child which I protect with the mind of skeptic.
